Tractor Sazi FC is a flashpoint of the region’s identity politics. Tractor matches have become a forum for Azerbaijanis to demand linguistic and ethnic rights in Iran. Supporters chant slogans in Azerbaijani Turkic and demand rights such as language instruction in their mother tongues. [3] Security forces, however, actively prevent people from expressing their demands during and after football matches. [4] After match between Tractor Sazi FC and Saba Qom F.C., which was important for Tractor to accede AFC Champions League, there were tensions between security forces and spectators protesting because of bias referring, and the violence spread to downtown of Tabriz and tens of fans were injured and arrested.[5]
There are a lot of popular marches for Tractor F.C. but 'Yasha Yasha Tiraxtur' (Viva viva Tractor) (written and produced by Barish Chorus Group) was chosen as official song last year.[6][7] The table below shows the Tractor fans anthem that is sung at Tractor matches.
